Salt spray atmospheres such as those prevailing along coastal areas or those prevailing on the roads in winter can be easily simulated by our systems. The SC/KWT series of salt spray test chambers and alternating climate test equipment allows selective and reproducible accelerated corrosion testing complying with the requirements of relevant national and international standards. By using these tests the user is able to make statements regarding the corrosion resistance of his products, or to take corrosion-inhibiting measures.
Volume 480 l or 950 l
Temperature range:
salt spray test: 5 K above ambient temperature to +55°C
condensation water test: 5 K above ambient temperature to +45°C
Walk-in salt spray test chambers for performing corrosion tests as per DIN 50 021 and DIN 50 017. Also suitable for long-term tests.
Volume 7,5 m³ Temperature range from AT to +50°C
Dust test cabinets
For protection code testing in a dust-laden atmosphere according to IEC and EN regulations. The systems are equipped with an underpressure device so that the dust does not only settle on the entire specimen but also penetrates it.
Volume 1 m³ to 8 m³
Spray and splash water testing equipment
For performing reproducible water resistant tests during development and quality control. The spray and splash water test equipment is manufactured as a key-turn version for protection system tests (IP code). Thanks to the integrated circulation equipment, water consumption can be reduced to a minimum.
Emission test cabinets
Volatile organic emissions originating from sources inside a room can be characterised under real conditions. Not only scientific measures but also steps that could be taken during a production process for achieving the limitation of emissions in rooms and thus the attainment of enhanced consumer protection are evaluated. Trace analysis and system calibration can be performed with these systems.
Volume 100 l and 1000 l Temperature range from +20°C to +130°C Humidity range from 30°C to 95°C
Test chambers for corrosive gases
The increasing pollution of the air due to the combustion of fossil energy carriers influences the natural weathering and ageing processes of materials. This applies to virtually all construction materials, building materials and consumer goods. To prove the resistance of the technical products to noxious gases, climatic test chambers are used which enable an exact dosage of the noxious gases with a climate conditioned air volume.
There are two variants:
climate cabinets VC with option noxious gas
climate cabinets for noxious gas tests including chlorine (Batelle-Test/IEC 60068-2-60)
Volume 150 l and 300 l Temperature range from +15°C to +60°C
For the systematic testing of the corrosive effect of noxious gases in the atmosphere. The test cabinet is equipped with a climate test space and a removable interior chamber for noxious gas testing. Thus, a climate test cabinet of high value is at your disposal which can also be used for performing tests without noxious gas.
Temperature range from +15°C to +80°C Humidity range from 40% to 75%
