Explosion-proofed heating and drying ovens
During many heat-treatment processes ignitable substances (solvents, gases etc.) are emitted which, when mixed with air, can result in explosive atmospheres. For these extreme conditions, e.g. existing in the chemical, pharmaceutical and electronics industries, our explosion-proofed heating and drying ovens have been designed to fulfil higher requirements than the customary dryers for coating materials. Advantages: no restrictions on the amount of combustible solvents in the working chamber (zone 1 and 2); suitable for solvents with the temperature classes T1, T2, T3 and T4 in the explosion groups II A and II B Available in sizes from 300 up to approx. 3000 l, temperature ranges up to 200°C
The laboratory model has been especially designed for heat treatment applications containing large quantities of flammable solvents. The particular design of this explosion-proof oven provides highest safety for both user and environment. Samples containing solvents of temperature class T1 to T4 and explosion group II A and II B can be heat-treated in this oven. Volume: 52 l; rated temperature 105 °C
